The members of Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies’ Institutions’ Innovation Council attended the live session of orientation on IIC 5.0 2022-23 held on 11th January, 2023 at 11:00 am.
The entire team of IIC including the IAs and Student Members viewed the orientation session where they were welcomed by Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu and informed about the Indian education system and innovation ecosystem.
He informed about how National Education Policy shall foster the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in higher education and how it can be made better with IIC. He gave an overview about all the different ways in which innovation is being empowered through MoE is education cell including IIC, ARIIA, YUKTI and KAPILA portals.
He gave an overview of these wings and took us through a journey of IICs. Finally he introduced the features of IIC 5.0 and its registration and participation guidelines. He also discussed the new features of the portal and how to use it.
He explained all sections like Manage Activity, Innovation and Start-up Support, etc. He concluded the session by explaining the weightage of each section and how to use IIC to the best advantage of student, institution and nation
