Workshops

Workshops are conducted regularly in a hands-on manner to bridge the knowledge gap and provide training in new and in-demand technical skills

Upskilling the educators is equivalent to training the students exponentially as the skills trickle down manyfold.

Python Fundamentals

A workshop was conducted at MRIIC as part of its Faculty Development Program by Dr. Umesh Dutta (Director, MRIIC) on Python Language and the fundamental concepts associated with computer programming.

The workshop was attended by faculties from the Department of Mathematics, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in MRIIRS.

Through this workshop, the participants were able to comprehend fundamental python codes and understand the essential concepts involved in writing their own programs. They were glad to be introduced to this new skill and looked forward to another Intermediate level course in the upcoming months.

Data Visualization using Tableau

A workshop was conducted at MRIIC as part of its Faculty Development Program by Dr. Umesh Dutta (Director, MRIIC) on the data visualization software Tableau and its use in accessing, visualizing and analyzing data to make effective data driven decisions.

The workshop was attended by faculties from the Department of Computer Science(MRU), Department of Computer Applications and Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (MRIIRS).

After the end-to-end explanation from data connection to dashboard sharing, the participants were given a chance to practice the skills learned on the same dataset by trying to recreate the charts of the discussed dataset.

We encourage students to participate at national and global forums to challenge themselves and broaden their horizons.
