SMART INDIA HACKATHON

Smart India Hackathon 2020 (SIH 2020) is MHRD’S nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.

Smart India Hackathon 2020 aims at promoting innovation, out-of-the-box thinking in young minds, especially engineering students from across India. Students had the opportunity to work on challenges faced by various Ministries, Departments, Industries, PSUs and NGOs to create world class solutions.

This edition of Smart India Hackathon involved conducting Internal Hackathon which was held on January 17 and 18, 2020 at Manav Rachna Innovation and Incubation Centre, AS-29 from 9 am onwards. The internal hackathon was scheduled to select top 7 teams, 5 from software and 2 from hardware categories. These teams represented Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies for the next stage in case the proposed solution gets selected.
