TRAIN The Trainer Program on Solar Roof Top Design kick started today at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies under the benign presence of Dr. Ashwini Aggarwal, Director Applied Materials and Chairman Solar- NOS Committee ESSCI, Dr. Yogesh Kumar Singh (Sr. Scientist), Mr. Aman Dubey (ESSCI), Dr. Umesh Dutta (Director, MRIIC), Dr. Abhiruchi Passi (Deputy Director MRIIC & HoD, ECE), Department of ECE Faculty Members and Students.

The objective of this training program is to provide Hands on training on Solar Roof Top Design covering the design aspects, installation & commissioning, understanding safety measures and various important policies related to installation of Solar Power Plant.

The Program began in online mode on 8^th November, 2021 with five days rigorous training in online mode itself along with 2 days offline hands-on training is taking place at MRIIRS on 13^th and 14^th November, 2021. The event has participation from the following four Institutions:

BML Munjal University, Chitkara University, Amity University and IETE, Noida Centre.

Electronic Sector Skill Council of India (ESSCI) has taken the initiative where above four mentioned institutions along with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies in Northern India have been given the grant for establishing the Solar Centre of Excellence.

This training program being held at Manav Rachna will act as a catalyst to pace up the progress of COE’s and will help the trainer to get skilled so that further knowledge can be disseminated amongst the students of the partner institutions along with the local community thereby boosting Solar Rooftop Design Ecosystem in our country.
